Why we’re building OwnGPU

Buying GPUs is expensive.
Getting them to work is harder.

A missing power connection, a cooling constraint or a network delay can hold up the entire investment. We’re building OwnGPU so you can own the equipment without having to build an infrastructure operation around it.

The reason to own

More control over
a critical resource.

When compute is central to your work, decisions about capacity, access and cost deserve to stay close to your business.

Know what you’re paying for

Price escalation makes long-term planning difficult. Owning hardware separates the equipment purchase from the recurring cost of running it. We set out the hardware price, infrastructure charges and applicable price-review terms in your proposal.

You can assess those costs against your expected use. Power and other operating charges may still change under the agreed terms; owning the hardware gives you a clearer cost structure, not a permanently fixed running cost.

Decide how your capacity is used

Plan the configuration around your software and workloads. Allocate the hardware you own to your priorities, with access and management responsibilities agreed from the start.

Make data access deliberate

Ownership gives you a basis for an environment dedicated to your workloads. We agree the access and handling responsibilities for your setup, including facility access, remote hands and equipment return.

Network isolation, application access, encryption and drive handling also belong in the plan. Equipment ownership alone does not secure the data; the controls and responsibilities need to work together.

The reason for OwnGPU

You shouldn’t need
to become a data centre operator.

Power, bandwidth, cooling and physical protection each require a plan. So do installation, troubleshooting and the person who can reach the equipment when something goes wrong.

One operating relationship

We coordinate the underlying facility services, so you don’t have to assemble separate power, cooling, connectivity and remote-hands arrangements yourself. Your agreed scope brings the responsibilities, charges and escalation path together.

Plan for go-live, not just delivery

Choose hardware and its operating environment together. Resolve rack fit, power, cooling, network and commissioning requirements before equipment arrives and starts waiting for the missing piece.

Access the skills and hands you need

Remote hands and infrastructure coordination help close the gap between owning a server and keeping it useful. Agree the tasks, response commitments and maintenance process for your setup.

Ownership economics

Compare the whole cost.
And the work it will do.

Compare the purchase price and ongoing hosting, maintenance and support against the cost of renting capacity for the same workload and period. Include financing costs where relevant, and test what happens if usage is lower than expected.

A steady workload and a short burst of demand can lead to different decisions. Future resale proceeds or spare-capacity income should not be needed to make today’s plan work.

A longer-term platform

Hardware should have options
throughout its life.

Today, we’re focused on GPU purchases and managed hosting in Mumbai and Noida. Over time, we want owners to have more ways to finance equipment, lease spare capacity, and sell or swap hardware as their needs change.

Those capabilities are planned. The immediate job is to make ownership and operations work well together.
